Position Summary


Reporting to the Manager, Marketing and Brand, the part-time Brand Ambassador represents CAA Niagara’s at events and festivals throughout the community. The incumbent will be high-energy but professional, interacting with Members and non-Members and educating them on the benefits of CAA.

 

This position will work between eight (8) and twenty (20) hours per week. Shifts may be between three (3) and twelve (12) hours a day, depending on the event. This individual must be able to work all weekends from March to October.

This contract runs from March to October, 2019.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Attend various community events

  • Educate event attendees on the benefits of CAA

  • Enroll new Members through the CAA Niagara website

  • Use handheld tablets to swipe membership cards to enter Members into a contest

  • Field questions about the club and offer post-event follow-up where necessary

  • Set up and tear down the CAA booth at the beginning and end of each event

  • Manage inventory of branded giveaways to ensure stock is sufficient for each event

  • Take photos and video while on-site at events

  • Provide feedback to the Events Lead regarding the success of the event and observations or suggestions for next year’s program

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education & Experience

 

  • Experience in event management is an asset

     

Working Conditions

 

  • Able to work evenings, and most weekends and holidays between March and October

  • Able to stand for long periods of time and lift 20 lbs.

  • Must have clean drivers abstract

  • Must have own vehicle and G license
