We are looking for an energetic and resourceful Logistics Coordinator to join our team! As the Logistics Coordinator, you will hold a key role within the Logistics Team by ensuring accurate information is set up and provided to our Customers for Direct Shipments from outside of North America, tracking and reporting of new SKU set up, provide Customs/Nafta Certificates, uploading inventory into our Customers Portal, Processing Returns to provide our Customer with a credit, Process Freight Bills (to be matched and processed) on-time and accurate. The ideal candidate will have a background in Customs, logistics, and Freight.


This role will work closely with cross-functional members of the Supply Chain team, Customer Service and Finance.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Ensures Direct Customer documents are accurately processed; promptly resolved and corrects inaccuracies when discovered.

  • Ensure “returns” are accurately processed to provide our Customer the necessary credits.

  • Receives, reviews and process freight invoices for approval by cross-functional teams.

  • Maintains and updates databases related to logistics and Direct Customer Orders.

  • Using PdMain, an integrated workflow delivery system, ensures data integrity of New SKU’s for are accurately set up and creates various reports to analyze data.

  • Ensures container counts are accurate and aligned within the organization; collects necessary documentation, validates counts with cross-functional teams (such as Finance and Product Development), and communicates counts to external suppliers and key stakeholders.

  • Proactively researches inventory discrepancies and inaccuracies and provides recommendations for solutions.

  • Performs other job duties as required; including backup coverage for co-workers during employee vacations and ad-hoc absences.


Position Requirements:

  • One-three years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Customs, or a related field.

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.

  • Global customs compliance experience considered to be an asset.

  • Intermediate user of Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Demonstrated sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize and balance competing demands to meet deadlines.

  • Proactive, organized and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently.

  • Personable and self-starter with the ability to engage and collaborate with cross-functional teams, with an end result of driving forward various projects.

  • Ability to prioritize and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.

  • Energetic, resourceful and known for a positive, “can-do” attitude.

  • Ability to work flexible hours as required, to accommodate the various time zones between our clients’ operational facilities
