Immigrant Services Calgary is seeking a full-time (37.5 hours per week) Youth and Family Programs Coordinator to supervise and provide facilitation support for developmentally appropriate and culturally sensitive programming for children/youth between the ages of 6 to 13 years in the Mosaic Family Resource Centre. The purpose of this position is to coordinate and supervise all aspects of program planning, delivery and evaluation across the Mosaic Family Resource Centre programs for youth.


Duties:
• Ensure all project goals and objectives are being met
• Ensure that client-related documentation is completed and processed according to timelines
• Oversee, develop and build partnerships with various ethno-cultural associations, community service providers, and related organizations
• Provide supervision and guidance to a team of 3-4 service delivery team members
• Designing and facilitating developmentally-appropriate, safe and creative programs for children
• This position reports directly to the Mosaic Family Resource Centre Director


Qualifications:
• Degree in Social Sciences or Education
• Previous supervisory experience
• Experience designing and facilitating age-appropriate programs for children and youth
• Experience working with children ages 6-13 years
• Cultural sensitivity
• High proficiency in spoken and written English
•  Fluency in another language is an asset
• As aspects of the programs take place outside of the agency, a valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation are an asset
• Available to work some evenings and/or weekends when necessary
