The Sewing operator will be responsible to sews initial garment from A-Z including finishing and pressing using a variety of sewing machines.

Responsible for:

  • Receives spec sheet and cutting samples

  • Reviews spec sheet and consults pattern maker if required

  • Sews the garment according to procedure

  • Consult the supervisor if required

  • Finishes the garment as per company standards

  • Presses the garment as required according to company standards

  • Performs simple machine maintenance such as replacing broken needles, adjusting the
    tension and replacing bobbins

  • Assure the lubrification of the sewing machine once a month

  • Cleans sewing machine once a week

    Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years experiences of sample making or garment fabrication (A
     to Z) in manufacturing industries

  • Basic knowledge of garment construction and tailoring

  • Languages spoken: French and English
